‘I want to bring the life back to anatomy. I am making the dead lifeful again.'
Gunther von Hagens, Professor and Exhibition creator
Body Worlds is designed to provide health education. It serves to inform general members of the public about the inner workings of the human body and to show the effects that daily lifestyle choices have on our health. It is presented in the hopes that it stimulates curiosity about the science of anatomy and physiology.
KYTOS is pleased to announce our latest Biology trip:
Body Worlds Exhibition, London
Wednesday 5th December 2018
All anatomical specimens in the exhibition are real. Body Worlds is the only exhibition of real human bodies
with its own established donor programme. Currently, there are over 17,000 donors, worldwide, who approved to donate their body to the exhibition for public display and educational purposes.
We will be leaving school at around 12.45pm and returning at approximately 6.30pm on the day. If you wish to attend, please provisionally sign up using the form on this site. Letters will then be sent home to parents/guardians of the first 30 students who apply. This must be signed and returned by the specified date, with the appropriate payment (approximate cost of £24)
